The "Mustaqbal Misr" (Egypt’s Future) project is located within the area of the giant project of "New Delta", along the new Rod El Farag\ El Dabaa axis, near the airports of Sphinx and Burj Al Arab and the ports of Dekheila and Alexandria, which helps to facilitate the delivery of production requirements and products, and makes the project an attractive agricultural destination for investors.
Mustaqbal Misr
The “Mustaqbal Misr” (Egypt’s Future) project is strategically situated within the expansive New Delta initiative, along the new Rod El Farag/El Dabaa axis. It is conveniently located near Sphinx and Burj Al Arab airports, as well as the ports of Dekheila and Alexandria. This prime location enhances the logistics of delivering production inputs and finished products, making it an appealing agricultural hub for investors.
Project Objectives
The primary goal of the project is to develop the northwestern coastal region by establishing new urban and agricultural communities, each supported by an effective administrative system.
Additionally, the project aims to create industrial complexes that focus on comprehensive agricultural production, encompassing all stages from crop cultivation and harvesting to sorting, packaging, and manufacturing. The “Mustaqbal Misr” initiative is set to generate hundreds of thousands of new job opportunities.
Another key objective is to close the agricultural gap at the local level, ensuring that high-quality agricultural products are available at reasonable prices for citizens, while also enabling the export of surplus goods. The project plans to cultivate 500,000 acres of land, of which 200,000 acres have already been reclaimed in the first phase, with an additional 300,000 acres set for reclamation in subsequent phases. Water resources will be sourced from facilities designed to treat agricultural wastewater.
Infrastructure Developments
The project’s infrastructure includes:
The paving of internal roads spanning a total of 500 km and the drilling of underground water wells.
The establishment of two power stations with a combined capacity of 350 megawatts, alongside an internal electricity network measuring 200 km.
The construction of storage facilities for production supplies, as well as administrative and residential buildings.
